Contract Construction, Construction Dynamics, ENVIRO AgScience and Barton Malow, the four firms that comprise the CCEB Venue Partners, held an appreciation breakfast for their subcontractors at the Spirit Communications Park on December 4, 2015.
The commitment of the subcontractors to complete the Columbia Commons Multi-use Venue in a timely fashion is commendable. Despite harsh weather conditions including record heat and one of the worst floods in the state’s history, the team has stayed focused and has met all critical schedule targets.
Milestones include commencement of site preparation activities in January, 2015, and vertical construction in June, 2015; first concession stand and beginning of the suite level in mid-August; topping out of the steel structure in September, 2015; and stadium seating installation January, 2016. The Spirit Communications Park is slated to be complete before opening day, April 14, 2016.
