Contract Construction, JHS Architecture and the students and staff of Cardinal Newman School celebrated the completion of the new school on Alpine, Rd., on Tuesday, January 19, 2016. The administration of the school hosted a media tour and provided interviews and photo opportunities.
Cardinal Newman School was constructed on a 49.7 acre site. The 115,000 sq. ft. state of the art building includes 32 classrooms, 5 fully equipped science labs, media center, 250 seat Our Lady of Joyful Hope Chapel, 350 seat performing arts center, 2D and 3D art rooms, and cafeteria, with an initial enrollment of 550 students with core structure capable of a total population of 750 students. The athletic facilities will offer students 2 regulation gymnasiums, health and wellness center, football/soccer stadium, practice fields, baseball & softball fields, golf center, tennis complex and field house.
