Contract Construction joined together with Richland Northeast High School administrators and Richland Two officials in a ribbon-cutting celebration for the opening of their new football stadium. The new stadium has been 40 years in the making and has a seating capacity of 4,000. The project was made possible by the Pathways to Premier Facilities Bond Referendum that voters overwhelmingly passed in November 2018.
“We want to ensure that our students feel proud about the facilities in which they are being educated and also the facilities that they are competing in,” said Superintendent Dr. Baron R. Davis.
The project included the construction of a new stadium, an all new athletic field house with weight room, training room, home and visitor locker rooms, Mondo track, artificial turn installation, new two-story 80′ long air-conditioned press box with separate home & visitor film platforms, concession stands and restrooms.
